I love this butter dish! It fits perfectly in my kitchen but the knife doesn't sit properly on the lid. My sister bought one and hers too, that was the main reason I bought them! A little disappointing.

I've always needed an oil stand. That's great. Luckily the company packs their oil can very well because the USPS threw the bag down the hall and thanks to the company's packaging it wasn't damaged!

My dog went against surfing and got my butter dish. The damn thing went all over my floor. So I had to get a new one. Found this one and I like it. It can hold 4 packs of oil or one block of oil. Ideal! And the seal keeps it fresh.

Black with white lettering. I read the great reviews and decided to purchase because I was looking for a replacement oiler. Well, I'm certainly not disappointed! Very good quality and the butter knife is one of the best I have at the moment! Don't hesitate to buy, I think you will be satisfied!

Growing up, my family always left butter, but for some reason I kept it in the fridge. Well after years of destroying my toast I finally decided I wasn't going to consume butter and bought this dish. I leave it on the counter next to my homemade sourdough bread. I actually think I use more butter now because everyone wants soft buttered bread now!

I really like this butter dish. The bowl is large, the walls are thick, the lid fits well. Don't think it's great that the little spreading knife just rests on the lid and doesn't "hold back" so to speak - so when you take the lid off you can't just fold it over and put it down without the shaker falling off. out of the groove. Slight irritation. I love the color blue - a beautiful eye-catcher on my counter.

The knife doesn't stay in place so it keeps slipping when I move it. I'd really like to do one without a knife. Otherwise, it's a cute butter dish. The only other caveat is that it's off-white in color. I ordered the bread box pictured with this one and the bread box is white and the fonts are slightly different. I like them both, but they're definitely not a set.

I was looking for a butter dish with a lid that was sealed and unlike any other. This is in every box. Good size great color love the bamboo top and the butter knife is amazing. The top seals are really good (the reason I was looking for a new one, really don't like the ones that just sit on top and aren't secure - like old fashioned crockery), this keeps your oil sealed and fresh and you don't have to worry make your oil attract odors from the fridge.

This 300ml butter dish is attractive, easy to clean and perfectly sized for West Coast Butter. The smaller size makes it easier to grip with arthritic hands. I love having a wooden lid that doubles as a cutting board. My previous glass butter dish broke around the edges due to knife slippage. The only downside is that the silicone gasket seals so well that the air trapped in it compresses and forces the lid (see picture) out once it's on. However, the seal keeps the oil fresh.
