I love this product! I've had two for a few months now and neither have come loose from the shower wall. I just check them from time to time to see if they need to be rotated a bit like the instructions say. They were very easy to install and I love that there is space to hang a washcloth or something. They also rotate to clear underneath. I have recommended them to other people without hesitation.

I don't like using the soap holder built into my shower because the spray from the shower hits the soap and runs down the shower wall and then I get suds. I place it on the same wall as the shower head, outside of the jet area. They have great suction and I love that this is a slatted basket because when you put wet soap back in the basket it doesn't get sticky to the bottom like my other basket.

I chose this version mainly because they also offered an adhesive pad in case the suction cup works now for some reason. I was impressed that there was even a third suction cup in the package to use "in case the first one didn't work". I've had no problem getting the "standard" suction cup mechanism to work on my tile and after the initial install and a few extra pulls the same day the suction is still working fine and is for now - at least two weeks also not needed refinement of the suction…

I had to return this as it didn't stick to the plastic shower surface. I cleaned this place well and wiped with alcohol. When first put it on it felt very tight. I checked it after an hour or so and tightened it up. At night he lay on the floor in the shower. So I repeated all my steps again, but this time I checked it every few hours to tighten it more. The device is great but if you follow the suction instructions the device will fall in about a day. I did a little research and found that if I use the same truck I use with stainless steel suction cup soap holders, the device stays indefinitely unless you physically remove it or hit it hard. Ordered 2 of these for my new shower. It's funny but 1 of them stuck well to the tile and 1 didn't. The tile is not glossy smooth but smooth enough to hold 1 soap dish from last month. Another wouldn't stay in place until I used the stick-on plate that comes with each unit. You really can't see the difference between the 2nd. I've tried everything to get this to stay on my tiled shower wall and no matter what I try it doesn't stay on the wall more than 5 minutes before falling off. Instructions, rinsed the tile with alcohol, waited for it to dry but never mind, 5 minutes was exactly how long it took. that does not work. I don't recommend it at all.
