Havels Double Curved Applique Scissors Rounded Review

These are the BEST! I can cut tight and won't cut through the outer fabric! These scissors may not suffice for applications with round tips.

I was so excited to use these with my embroidery patch but unfortunately I couldn't open them and once opened they just twitched. Definitely not suitable for embroidery.

I'm a long arm quilter. These scissors, I have 5 pairs, are indispensable. We also use them as prizes at our events related to the Quilts of Valor program. Two more in the package. The exchange is only a few euros more expensive than sharpening. Except I haven't found anyone who sharpens scissors of this size well yet. Premium quality from the Havel brand backed by great prices and service from Revain and its suppliers.

I like that the tip of the scissors is small for tight spaces. And I especially like the blunt tip, which makes it a lot easier to avoid cuts. The quality is much better than the price suggests.

I mainly use this for my embroidery projects. We were recommended by my sister - she embroiders a lot on a typewriter. Although I used my own appliqué scissors, they are even better for a fraction of the cost. I recommend these scissors for neatly trimming appliqué and embroidery.

When I opened my package and saw that the scissors weren't what I thought, I ordered. I wanted a curved sharp end. The description doesn't mention a blunt tip. Decided to return because it wasn't what I wanted. But I thought I'd try them first. OMG, they're great for trimming batting in my machine embroidery projects. I'm glad I tried them first. Definitely recommend.
