I have small feet and these boots are amazing!

These boots are great, the sizing is exactly what he said! I have a small foot and this gives me so much support! Yes, I will buy another color as well.

Pros
  • The good quality and profile works well on the rough terrain of the trails we walk on every day.
Cons
  • Shoes fall apart after a day at school. It's only 6 hours wear time. Terrible.

Sturdy shoes but poor design

These shoes are very durable and my daughter loved wearing them but she tripped a couple of times due to the hook on the outside of the shoe. Now they just sat on my shoe rack because my daughter doesn't want to hurt her knee again.

Pros
  • Looks like quality kids hiking shoes for the price. Daughter seems to like her very much
Cons
  • Can be difficult to put on or take off

Good option for the price

My 8 year old daughter loved these backpackers. They are comfy and cute! I didn't expect them to be as strong and durable as quality hiking boots, but for what we're going to do, and their age and continued growth, they're great!

Pros
  • Fits great. I wore them to Coopers Rock State Forest in West Virginia with no problem!
Cons
  • Cute shoes but VERY big!

good for moderate tourists

I'm planning to do a lot of hiking this year so the little one needed something better than her flimsy sneakers, but I didn't want to spend a fortune. These are good boots for the price, she says they are very comfortable. We're not going to overdo it, I don't know how well these boots stand up to heavier kids or more aggressive hikers, but for the moderate things we do they're great.

Pros
  • Fits exactly! I bought these for my daughter when we go camping and they work great. Good grip on the bottom!
Cons
  • May not be strong enough to handle rough terrain

Hiking shoes for girls

I bought these for my 8 year old daughter to go hiking. When they arrived in the mail my first thought wasn't the best quality. They seem a bit cheaply made. They're really light too. I don't really expect them to last too long but for now they're ok. She says they're comfortable, so that's good!

Pros
  • The boots offer more flexibility and comfort and ensure that your child's feet are not cramped or uncomfortable during outdoor activities.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with some orthotics or insoles.

If you're reading this, you've looked at the other kids' hiking boots on Revain and thought, (Gosh, I'm not paying for a pair of boots they'll outgrow in a year!) What are you? Wondering how they compare to an $80 pair of Keen? Answer: not so good. But if you don't care that your kid's hiking shoes look absolutely perfect, they will do the job just fine. A good 1 year later: After a year of fairly regular wear, the sole has held up well. No separation from the shoe body and the laces are still…

Pros
  • Hawkwell hiking shoes are designed for kids who love exploring the great outdoors. They are durable and built to withstand the rigors of outdoor play.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for fancier occasions

Awesome Kids Boots/Shoes

My son loves it. They are cute and light and support his ankles. Great shoes at a good price, especially for children who have outgrown their shoes too quickly. Carried a lifetime on the trails (Christian Boy Scouts, but MUCH MORE), went to camp and endured hiking and playing on horseback. Worn several times in dry weather and rain/mud. The tread and even the insoles are still in good condition. I think he will outgrow them before destroying them. Unusual for my boy

Pros
  • BREATHABLE AND WATERPROOF: The upper is made of breathable oxford and lightweight synthetic leather that is water resistant and easy to clean, while the mesh lining keeps kids' feet cool and dry.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Probably choose something else

These boots look great and are built to last. However, the hooks/lace clips are too open at the top and are particularly small, causing the laces of one shoe to become tangled in the other shoe. NO JOKE. The child tied one shoe to the other several times during a walk. - The first time was funny. - The second time we thought she tied her laces wrong, so we tied her laces right again. - The third time we rushed home with a big bruise. Choose something else.

Pros
  • ANTI-SKID: The EVA sole has a special and varied pattern that increases friction, provides secure footing and reduces the risk of children falling when playing outside.
Cons
  • Available in white only.

The seams unraveled within 3 days and are also not waterproof.

Bought for my 7 year old to wear when we go camping. The shoes fit well and she told me they were comfortable. No blisters during the week she's been using them. We spent the day walking around town in them trying them on before heading out. Unfortunately, they completely lack power. On the third day, one of the boots suddenly came loose at the seams. It's just that one of the threads started to unravel and before we knew it, part of the shoe fell apart. I always carry duct tape with me for…

Pros
  • SAFETY: Sturdy shoes with anti-collision toe provide extra protection for kids.
Cons
  • Not bad but...
