HAYNES 42035 Technical Repair Manual Review

There seems to be a problem with this product listing. Title and picture do not match. The item number is from 1999 to 2004 but the picture in the advert shows from 2000 to 2010. The seller sent the correct name, it's just not what is in the picture.

The transaction itself, the seller, the delivery time were excellent. The problem is with the product itself. The guide was intended for 1999-2010 cars. A lot of the manual didn't apply to the 2010 model, which is what I needed. Schematics are for 2004 only. If your Odyssey is newer than 2004 I would advise against purchasing this manual.

I am aware of this series of repair manuals. They're pretty good (not great, but pretty good!), especially when paired with a good YouTube video. My only criticism of this manual is that it shows the 1999-2010 edition, while I received the 1999-2004 edition. My odyssey is from 2006 so it bugs me but doesn't bother me. I don't think anything seriously changed between 2004 and 2006, but I won't know until I need to fix something!

I like to think I can work on my cars a little. This guide has helped at least three successful repairs. When I replaced warped rotors on both the front and rear wheels, the guide provided the best and easiest way to loosen and remove them. On my own I probably would have damaged something before I took it off. I'm limited in what I want to do with my car (I hate getting really dirty) but I found this guide useful in helping me decide if I should take the job.
