these are well made boots but they just don't stay in place, my 5 month old golden retriever pup almost injured himself trying on constantly breaking away or twisting, causing him to twist his paws and fall. I do not recommend this.

Bought this for our dog as he thought he would wear it while we took him for a walk so we didn't have to wash his paws. It turns out he doesn't like wearing them. Once we put it on he just lay there not moving anywhere haha but after a while he walked with him but in a weird way. Good product for protecting paws from road debris but the size is a bit off and the velcro wears out over time; I stopped using them when I noticed my dog's paw was bleeding a little. At first I thought I wrapped them too tightly, but when I untied them they either fell off or flipped over so the rubber piece was on top of the paw, tearing the fabric at the pads of the paws. I only use them when we walk the sidewalk for short periods of time.

I buy a lot of boots for my dog who needs to wear boots outside to protect his paws and I was hoping they would be better than other brands we buy. I got them because I kept slipping on the floor and I was afraid of jumping off the furniture because I slipped and fell. I tightened these suction cups as tight as they could and she pulled them off very quickly. I also felt like she couldn't walk well in them (she wore them several times and that was AFTER she stopped scaring her). They didn't allow her ankle to bend the way it needed to, so she kept tripping. They were too stiff and she had to bend 90° between foot and leg.
