Extended HDMI over CAT6 128ft

We used it at our church to extend HDMI over CAT6 about 128ft and it works great. We still get excellent image quality with no lag. We've been using this for a few months now to keep our weekly live stream going and haven't had any issues with it. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

NO FLAT WIRE for supplies and accessories

Would have been 4 stars but must have missed the part about using flat wire. Everything was ready to work through the roof and there was no picture after connection. Checked the instructions, tried their suggestions and nothing. A quick web search and found a comment about Cat6 flat wire and couldn't use it. Changed to a round wire I stole from my kid's PS4 and it works great.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Hard to say

doesn't do 1080p as advertised

So much for 1080p at 164 feet. Can't even get it to 100 feet. TV works with 100ft Cat5e. I was able to get regular 1080i video from my TV but only at 100ft. I couldn't get my laptop to work at 100 feet, including downscaling my laptop's resolution from 1920x1080 to its lowest setting of 1024x768.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Literally doesn't work

I had a problem filming this thing for hours. I used multiple Cat5 cables, I replaced the HDMI cables on both ends. I switched devices on each end just in case I made a mistake with the input and output. Nothing, zip, nada. I had another brand at home so I tested all my cables with this converter and everything works fine. This device is useless, like Ignacio in Nacho Libre.

  • Keeping my Fists

Easy setup and everything works

Replaced the HDMI Wireless Extender that finally broke after years of use. It was a good deal, cheaper, and easier to set up after running 30ft of Cat/6 through the house. The result is a good and reliable picture for 2 TVs thanks to a loop out feature not found on many extension cords at this price point. POE means I only need power on one end (I chose the transmitter), although you get 2 if you want to use them. I don't need the included I/R blasters so can't comment on them and the…

A major downside is the best audio and video accessory

This is advertised as allowing multiple devices to be daisy chained to send a signal to multiple TVs. While this was running, the signal would randomly drop between 1 and 30 seconds for no apparent reason. I've tried customizing the DIP switches to suit my cable length (50 feet) and even tried using just one instead of the planned three. He just kept cutting randomly. 1 star for this reason alone as it is impossible to watch a TV connected to this item as you never know when or how long the…
