Review on OREI HDMI Extender Over CAT5/CAT6 with IR – Up to 164 Feet Range – Loop Out – 1080P Full HD Signal Distribution (EX-165C+) by Teresa Becker

This is advertised as allowing multiple devices to be daisy chained to send a signal to multiple TVs. While this was running, the signal would randomly drop between 1 and 30 seconds for no apparent reason. I've tried customizing the DIP switches to suit my cable length (50 feet) and even tried using just one instead of the planned three. He just kept cutting randomly. 1 star for this reason alone as it is impossible to watch a TV connected to this item as you never know when or how long the signal will drop. I tried 3 different pairs and they all had the same problem. I have also used new shielded Cat6 cables but the problem persists.
