This worked well when connecting an old non-HDMI monitor (with DVI) to an old desktop with HDMI (with a discrete graphics card). However, it didn't work with two laptops that only had HDMI.

I just needed a strong cable that was a little longer than usual to install on my church balcony. Perfect cable, works great when we stream our service online.

This is required for the DVI connection on the purchased Gigabit GPU to add a second monitor to the system. Works great.

After a long search, we decided on this one. Excellent quality, pleasant feel. Seems really strong. Both ends of the plugs fit snugly and tightly. What else to ask? It works. Item as described in photo and details. We'll see how it holds up. The maximum refresh rate for DVI-HDMI/HDMI-DVI cables is 60 Hz. Used on a 1920x1080 monitor.
