    Works well with HDMI to VGA adapters

    If this cable goes from a DVD player to an old Samsung 17" sync (the one with the TV tuner) it will work intermittently, but it's like the signal drops out or the monitor just doesn't like the signal. So the cable offers an adjustment, but something is wrong.

    Fell apart in my car!

    I plugged it in, after an hour of use the screen starts flashing, I look down and the case with the pins doesn't fit the connector exactly, a piece of metal is sticking out, try that disconnect cables and everything falls apart. I had to use tweezers to get the piece out of the hole.

    Working well after 9 months of use

    I keep plugging and unplugging my monitor as I use it on 2 different desktops and the cable is working great after 9 months. The fit is also perfect, inserting the plug does not require too much force.

    Product works great

    Just make sure your computer's display settings are DUPLICATE when attempting to mirror your computer's screen on a projector or TV. Our problem was that an old computer with a VGA port but without this DUPLICATE option would not send a signal to the projector through either port. Newer computers usually have an HDMI port, but the projector still requires a VGA input. Luckily this fixed the problem when we connected a newer computer with an HDMI port to the projector's VGA port.

    It does exactly what it's supposed to do

    I bought this to connect my laptop to an extra monitor. It uses the laptop's HDMI output and connects it to an old monitor with a VGA connector. Remember: HDMI is a digital signal and VGA is an analog signal. You can connect a digital to an analogue output, but not vice versa.

    Connect new laptop to old monitor🙂

    I had to connect my new laptop (HDMI) to my old monitor (VGA) so that I could work with the second screen. It did just that. I'm glad I was able to make the right choice. Another reviewer helped make sure I was choosing the right one by basically describing the same thing I did. I know this seems obvious, but I've read many reviews on other similar products that they don't do what they're supposed to do.
