High quality BNC connector

the best locking connector for security cameras. I've tried different brands, twisting on BNC connectors, crimping. This one is the best, it's even better than the $50 connector sold in Homedepot I need the compression tool, compress it with the cable, super easy to use.

Pros
  • Very impressive

Buy a name brand not this

I had to return all 4 packs of these. After installing 16 cameras only one worked, since then we replaced the connectors with branded ones and got the rest working, I thought I was done but recently the one camera that worked with those connectors stopped working; now we have to replace that one too. These are cheap but not worth the hassle.

Pros
  • complete set
Cons
  • sad packaging

very poor quality on supplies and accessories

These fall apart easily if handled prior to press crimping. They are also unusually difficult to turn on BNC connections once connected. I don't know why, but compared to some old Radio Shack compression fittings, these are a lot harder to turn onto connections. If you need to plug these into tight connections like the back of a DVR, you're going to run into trouble. I do not recommend.

  • A good thing

Helpful hints on the clamp fitting

Hello everyone. These links are easy enough to use. BUT order the recommended orange grip crimper. These compression fittings are too long for the "port freight" crimping tools. You will need an adjustable crimping tool. The compression is the end piece into which a plastic compression sleeve is crimped. It doesn't crush the metal in any way, so don't try. I haven't completed all my connections yet so I can post a video.

Pros
  • Not only useful for the intended purpose
Cons

great connector for $ , just be sure to use it .

Great connector for the $ just be sure to use the correct cord or they will literally fall off. and no, it's not as simple as fitting them "RG-59" RG59 cables come in many different sizes. So how do you say it? if you like me, you don't have to guess. Many sellers do not include CAD drawings for such connectors. For me they were an addition to my collection to fall back on should I come across an unusual/not unusual sized cable.

Pros
  • Regular price

  • Almost never

Absolute rubbish good for plugs & adapters

Pure rubbish! I'm a professional electrician and I buy professional tools. So believe me when I say this sucks. Bought 2 bags and 4 of them were already broken in the bag. Then when I turned on the 16 channel system with the customer right next to me, 8 cameras had no video. It was beyond embarrassing and cost me $88 at the Home Depot to purchase replacement parts and 5 labor hours to remove and replace. I hate Home Depot, but I'd rather buy anything there from now on than have to use those…

Research how long each section should really be stripped.

Very good quality. All worked fine for me. But you need to know what you're doing when you strip the wire. One response says it's from a seller saying 1/4 1/4. I researched it and it really is closer to 3/8" center conductor and 1/4" shield. I had to watch many videos on how to do it and some of them were correct. Many of them got it wrong: the center conductor needs to be long enough to go into the center pin, but not bottom out in the pin. If you cut a long piece of center conductor and…
