We have been using it for six years, everything is fine. This is the only type of halter that kept my half of the husky from flinching. Easy Leader worked but my smart dog can take them off and with this brand he is off the leash. Halti has a harness that attaches to the collar, so if your dog slips off the halter, your dog is still tied to the leash. It has also survived many washes.

This product has been a real godsend for me and my dog. She was pulling so hard that I started walking less often, but now we're back to the usual walking schedule. I put it on as soon as I received it and took a few steps back and forth to acclimate it, but the adjustment to the tension was INSTANT. It tends to move on her nose if she strays too far from me while walking, but nothing to complain about.

I bought 3 of these Halti collars for 3 different dogs. I like this brand because it has an extra 6 inch leash that connects the halter to a regular dog collar. This is VERY important as it allows the halter to be slightly loose which allows for mouth and head movement and maximum comfort for your pet. If you pull too hard, the halter may slip off. With this 6" leash, your leash is always tied to your dog, even if the halter slips.

I bought this for my dog (Shiba) who hates harnesses but is not ready to walk with just a collar. So I bought this product and after several months of daily training, my dog is walking smoothly with no jerking. Wearing a hat is not difficult. Will not fall off dog's head when properly sized and adjusted. Pros: The concept is flawless and works great! However. Cons: I *strongly* recommend ordering a size up. I ordered the correct sizes and they are both in the very back of the slack that should have been there. There is absolutely no adjustment space on the muzzle strap, making adjustment impossible.
