Please check the size before ordering

I was able to get it working after opening the hole (off road vehicle) and doing a little metal work. I missed her exact size when ordering, so this is user error. They seemed a little brittle but I drilled the correct size hole and that may be due to the pressure I put on them during fit testing. Five or six broke, which seemed excessive considering I quickly found them to be a bit brittle. Once fitted and installed they hold up as I would expect. No more trouble.

Quality replacement for your classic car or truck.

Do not even think about buying a cheap analogue in the spare parts store. I inherited my late grandfather's 96 K1500 sealed beams and one of the OE governor assemblies broke. Went to the nearest auto parts store and found that it would be better to air dry and shape the toothpaste than to buy a ridiculously cheap and flimsy version made by a company I won't name here (*allusion on D and rhymes with Normans). I came across them after my GM had been driving around with squinting eyes for two…

These are the adjusters you are looking for

These headlight adjusters are a must if you have an early 80's C10. They are a million times better than the Dorman regulators found at most parts stores. They come with set screws separate from the plastic base and require little force to screw in as they cut their own threads into the plastic. I would suggest putting the screws through the base before installing. This may require the use of pliers to have a base when tightening the screw. Once fitted, they snap firmly into place with an…

Closest OE reproduction I've found.

Nylon fits perfectly if you have the original screw, I recommend using it for refilling from the back. The reason is that Philips head is not number 2 on the reproduction. And the replica has no launch shaft in front of the conical threads. After threading, install and use the included screw. Set it to the same length as the original (you should start from the original position and look at the wall settings for the spotlights). Repeat for the next controller. Before repairing the second lamp…

Worth buying

Glad I bought them and wish I had thought about buying them sooner. 37 years later, two of my headlight adjusters failed on my 1983 C10 pickup last month. I bought some replacement regulators at an auto parts store for almost $6. Expensive parts but cheap products and in less than a month they were both disassembled and their headlights on the ground. I bought these controllers from Revain and they did not disappoint. They fit very well and the starting torque is strong, almost too strong so…
