Works within 30 minutes: Audio Cable

I received this product today to use with the recording software on my MacBook Air. I took it out of the box and plugged it into my computer and it worked great. The sound quality was fantastic for a splitter. When I unplugged the splitter to see the sound quality from the MacBook's speakers, it was amazing. When I plugged the splitter back in, the mic jack stopped working. I tried troubleshooting and restarted my computer to see if it was user error, but I still couldn't get any sound. I am…

Use this to record audio from the 3DS for a game (e.g. Pokemon USUM or Super Smash Bros). No complaints. This is a real choice for any portable gamer! Turned my MacBook into a karaoke machine!

I used this to connect a wireless microphone to my MacBook. Because the headphone jack on all Macs is designed for use with a combination of Mac headphones and microphones, you can't just plug in a standard microphone. With this little adapter, I was able to connect a wireless receiver from my microphone to my Mac, and then with a karaoke website and Mac streaming to Apple TV, my soundbar TV became a full-featured karaoke machine. Mac/Apple users, DO NOT BUY: Doesn't work with Macbook Pro!

This splitter will probably work great with other devices, but DO NOT buy this if you have a Mac. The product description is wrong, it just doesn't have the right connection to the Apple headphone jack.
