Type of review

I like the vocal articulation and the spatial separation of the soundstage. There is good bass with no additional artifacts. I give 4 out of 5 points. because they are pressed to my ear. Overall I think these are quality headphones that sound surprisingly good for the price. I chose the Sony WH-1000XM2. I hope my ambient noise kills the ninja.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • too blunt

Let the buyer be alert!

I bought 4 of these headphones, of course I like the sound! My problem with the product is related to mechanical engineering! All 4 headphones broke in the same place! Stress from normal use caused them to fail. I am very careful with my equipment. The attached photos make it pretty clear what I'm talking about! My other headphones don't break, but when they do they are modular with user-replaceable parts. These headphones are useless now unless I'm holding those great drivers to my head with…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Good sound good for in ear headphones

I only got them this week so I'm writing a review based on limited experience. The sound quality is very good. I listen to Joe Bonamassa Blues/Rock a lot and they do a great job. Some features are still in the learning curve, since I actually only needed them for music, would be interesting in connection with my iPhone when it comes to calls. I had trouble pairing at first because I didn't know you could only connect one device at a time. I contacted the seller and he emailed back straight away

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I'll write back

Almost as good as Bose. But for a fraction of the cost

I've enjoyed Solitude brand noise cancellation since the early days when they were sold under the Plane Quiet brand. I had to replace them when they broke due to carelessness on my part. However, every time I've upgraded to a newer and better model, this is by far the best and most versatile set I've had. Aircraft noise, to the point that when I take them off to get up from my seat, I'm overwhelmed by the noise, which I've been missing. I've tested these side-by-side with comparable Bose models

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Modern

Rewritten January 20th. I have ordered these headphones twice. The first pair didn't output enough volume and the volume buttons didn't work. i give them back The second pair produced enough volume, but perhaps a little lackluster in bass response. Both earphones paired easily with my LG V35Q Thin smartphone. However, the second pair (I never tried the first) would not pair with any of my Kindle Fire tablets. Apparently the Fire tables require something called A2DP, which these headphones don't

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Minor issues

[Updated] Lasted 6 months - good so far

My initial review would say that for the price these are great budget noise canceling headphones. I didn't like the fact that I had to use Bluetooth noise cancellation, but it didn't seem to impact battery life too much, so it didn't really matter. This is a significant saving over the next tier for ANC. For those who travel 4-5 times a year this is ideal. I don't wear these headphones every day. Fast forward - exactly 6 months after the date of purchase, the swivel broke. I go to the warranty…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Great NCs at a very reasonable price

I've had stupidly expensive Bose's (broken, Bose charge at least $100 to even look at them, guaranteed no repair) and they're just as good at NC, better sound and VERY cheap. I also have Solutides Wired and love them. There were also the original Plane Quiets, until someone stole them from an airplane seat. Otherwise I would still use them. The latest are amazing, used NRT-SGN and back on all trips and don't worry at all. Convenient, easy to connect, works great with Skype - my mum said it was…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance
