OptiBed Ultra: Advanced Bedding for Critter Care Review

for my child's hamster cage when the brand I usually use was out of stock. How different can shredded paper be? the paper is crumpled and not soft, but quite suitable for a hamster bed. BUT it creates SO MUCH dust that it covers everything in the cage and when it's replaced creates a cloud of dust that goes everywhere. I threw it away after 3 changes and went back to my old brand.

This litter works wonders for our rabbits. Two of them use it for sleeping and one of them in the other cage uses it as nesting material. It is not dirty and it is not at all difficult to clean it from the cells. Sheets don't stick to her hair. Our rabbits were long haired lion head rabbits which was my main concern and I have no problem with that. I would highly recommend this bedding and a little goes a long way so it's pretty cheap.

I like this because it doesn't take much. It will adsorb a ton, so that helps a lot. I use it for my rabbit and she knows exactly where to use the toilet in her cage. I usually change it every other day or so. As I said, it absorbs moisture well and helps a little. I would give it 5 stars but I just don't like how much dust this stuff creates. I know it's hard to get rid of, it's just that if I take a handful the dust flies everywhere.
