Great for art projects

So here's what I actually did with your product, which was taped it to drywall tape and other objects, pressed it down, and covered the texture with layers of paint. It applied easily and gave me the worn metallic finish I was aiming for. Not exactly common, but it arrived quickly and worked as expected.

Pros
  • Great Prize
Cons
  • Having troubles

Great for exhaust holes!

I had a rusty exhaust pipe and I smoothed it out with a tiny piece of sandpaper and the "Heat" tape adhered perfectly and I had no more problems with my exhaust. Idle and stop and drive on Autobahn! This is a great product and it gets the job done. Still sticks and does its job after driving quite a bit! (Like multiple cities back and forth multiple times)

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons

Not the best: Tape

I've bought a ton of aluminum tape in the past. This isn't the best part. I don't know if this company uses a different glue than the others, but it doesn't seem to "stick" very well. Heat, cold and humidity also cause it to frizz. I have a shed with a broken window. The aluminum strip on this window has been exposed to the weather for 12 years and has never curled. I would recommend that you try a brand other than this one.

Thinner than aluminum foil

This is the WORST aluminum tape I have ever used but for the price I should have expected it. I'm using it to line the inside of the curing chamber for my 3D printer and it will work (I'll get it to work). However, if I were buying this for use with air ducts or any other project where I wasn't going to mount it on a flat surface at waist height, I'd throw the entire roll across the room. I will not buy again. I probably won't even finish this video.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • No

Works as described.

Product works as described. It was a bit tricky to peel off the paper and once you peel it off the tape creases easily. Tip: Tear off some of the backing and glue the beginning of the tape to your project. Once the tape is set, start peeling the backing off a bit as you stick it onto your project, otherwise you'll have a huge mess and the tape will wrinkle, stick and stick together. The tape sticks well and retains heat as described.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Poorly designed
