I use this to make embroidered patches easy to use. Follow the instructions on the back, highly recommended. What I like about this product is that it has adhesive on both sides and the paper backing peels off easily, and what I like about it is that I can stick the patches onto a T - shirt or towel and iron - It is on the other side of the glue after I removed the paper. Heat and Bond Lite is always my go to applique for my quilts. It's light enough not to significantly change the shape of the fabric and holds up well. I use it for raw edge appliques for wall hangings and other quilts that don't need much washing - usually sewn with a loop or satin stitch - there is some fraying in the wash, in this case I use a small amount of heat and glue in the center of the appliqué to hold it in place and use the appliqué by twisting the needle around the edges.

I bought it after a master class I read on the Internet about sewing applique on elastic fabric.
