I was hesitant about this collar because my dogs like to pull each other's collars and have messed them up so much. It really held up and it's great to see them at night just for the reflection of the street lights.

Definitely not tough. I just received it yesterday and this morning it was chewed. That's the only reason I bought it because it needs to be durable and my dog chews on collars. But this one is no better than the $5.

Best collar! I have bought many collars over the years. It is bright, highly reflective, soft, clean and easy to clean. My dog loves the water and this collar copes with it. It's tough enough to grab her tiny 110-pound body by the collar and know it will hold up. I am also considering ordering in orange. Tie dye would be great!

Very glad I found this shop. It was also difficult to find an old school collar with a buckle. I don't care about those plastic buckles that everyone sells these days. This is a solid collar that is well made. Our dog adapts to the night, so we needed a collar with a reflective ring. That was excellent. I highly recommend it.

We looked through a few dog collars - some were destroyed by our dog when she was a puppy and others just smelled awful after she went swimming. I finally found this collar and it's the best! I also like the reflective stripe on it, although it wears off over time. This is our second tag just because the reflective tape wore out after about a year. Exactly the same bought!

I switched my dogs from nylon collars to these because we live in a place that gets a lot of rain and their collars smell horrible when wet. They saved us from unpleasant odors and none of them showed any signs of wear other than cosmetic (scratches etc.). I can't comment on their reflective properties as we have a large yard so we're not going out for evening walks or anything like that, but the reflective strip is still there as it was when it first appeared. I bought this in March and it's now September, it has a small tear on the outer edge but it's still holding up well (I don't walk on this collar with it, it just keeps its tags and ID's) I bought a large one for my 1 summer GSP weighing 70lbs. He's still a bit big, which is great because he's still growing. It's a wide, easy-to-clean material and buckle that feels pretty solid so far.
