Just use the magnet on your Frig, this isn't holding anything.I throw it, and throw it, and throw it, and get little particles, but nothing of any weight, is gonna be dragged, it just disengages due to gravity or rubbing the bottom, thus returning very little stuck to the magnet.I would not ever buy this again, unless like for $10 Bucks or something.

The gloves hat this came with are cheaply made, very very thin and flimsy and the rope has wires sticking out of the end of it and has cut my hand several times. Not happy with this purchase at all :(

Have yet to use product; however, gloves are more suited for smaller person/child. Wouldn't even fit on my hand. That's my review.

I was shocked at how weak this magnet is. I knew it wouldn't be a full 300 pound pull on each side because every company lies but this is ridiculous. I estimate the pull to be around 15 pounds. Besides that the quality of the magnet, rope and gives seems pretty good.

havent gotten to actually use it. concerned about the size of magnet and the strength of the nylon roping Cannot be used in areas with metal structures or objects.

I doubt it can actually hold a 760lb object. I tried it on various surfaces with full contact. I had to use a little force but was no way near 760lbs of force. It is sturdy, low priced and was well packaged.

Tried using this and its durable but the magnet is not strong at all. I tried it in my pool and couldn't even pull up a fishing rod with it. Also i tried it outside of water and wouldn't pull up a 10lb chair. Sorry but not worth it for me. Wasted my money.

Either it wasn’t strong enough’ or that lake was really clean. But other wise it was ok. I caught a bottle cap. That’s it. But I will be getting a stinger one !

Very nice I’m a little nervous because the bolts that hold the magnet to the rope could screw off fearful this will happen while trying to pull something out and I will lose it

Great magnet, just make sure you tie your own knot in the rope around the magnet. Threw it in the water about 5 times and the plastic casing holding the two ends of the rope slipped and lost the magnet in the water. We were lucky and able to find it. Just make sure to tie it so it doesn't happen to you.

I absolutely loved this product! I bought it for one of the presents for Father’s Day for my husband and he got so exited. He has been using it and I can tell he is beyond happy.

Hopefully, this product will enable me to find smaller meteorites. I'll follow up with my success or failure. Regardless, the magnet is super strong as advertised. I'm very pleased with the quality and price.

I purchased 2 of these fishing magnets for myself and for my 15 year old son. Magnet diamiter was smaller than expected! Its about the size of a pop can top. I have other magnets purchased through other websites and this is the smallest Ive seen. As for a combined 760lb of pull or 380lb each side, Im in doubt that its that strong after recieveing the magnet. Good for small children, around 10 years or so.

Magnet is not strong. It might pull 10lb if the surface is flat. I used it on the car body and it comes off easily not like my welding magnet. It won’t be able to pull out much from the water

I bought this 1000lb strength magnet to do salvage fishing and tested it on 20lbs of weight. Needless to say it did not pick up the 20lbs of weight. I'm very disappointed.

This works as advertised and it does hold on to things very well. But for magnetic fishing, I would like to get one a bit stronger. But it is not a knock on this product.

Was not super happy with the product. It picked up hardly anything. The knot came undone when thrown by a child. We had this product for less than one week.

Magnet is good.definitely doesn’t hold that much weight but still worth the little bit of money spent.the gloves on the other hand lol BERY petite, I wear a small and they are almost right on my hands.
