Type of review

Updated review:I bought these a while back and wrote a somewhat negative review because I found that these weren't as durable I think they could or should have been. I gave them two stars. I wrote that they look nice but break easily. So you have to be careful what you do with them. And in my pack, a couple had defective screws. If these are used as key chains and not loaded down with a whole bunch of keys they're probably be OK. However, the same manufacturer/seller has a more heavy duty…

Pros
  • 2mm THICK wire cable is Tactile and Tough.
Cons
  • The rings may be too thick to fit comfortably into some purses or handbags

Good purchase: my feedback

I bought these for my 11 year old son to keep his new house key safely attached to his backpack. I made sure to use three of them to ensure that his key would be attached and have a backup ring, in case the one it's attached to fails. They have held up well so far without any issues. The only thing I will mention is that they are small enough that I struggled a little to get them screwed close.

Pros
  • Reduces clutter and wastage of old keychains
Cons
  • The rings can be difficult to fit into certain types of locks or keyholes

Perfect for dog tags

Using these to keep our dogs’ tags attached to their collars. These work infinitely better than the cheap standard key rings that we had been using. I check/tighten them from time to time, but haven’t lost their tags yet!

Pros
  • Is what it says
Cons
  • It's a little fussy to get the threads going but they seem to work ok once they are started.

Bought mainly to use instead of key rings for pet collar tags. You might have to check every once in awhile that it's still screwed tight. Has yet to get pulled off by my large dogs. They stretch out regular keys chains pretty easy with scratching themselves around the collar.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • The rings may not be secure enough to hold onto larger or heavier key chains

Garbage, broke first time

These are poorly made. One broke immediately when attaching the ends together. I wouldn’t trust them to hold your keys.

Pros
  • Stackable design allows for easy storage
Cons
  • The heavy duty material can be uncomfortable to sit on if kept in a back pocket

have stayed on the dog's collar.

Our dog loses her tags because she wears through the connecting rings. So far, these show no signs of wear. I did put Loctite on the connection to insure that it did not loosen and come off. I wish I had purchased the longer ones to make them easier to connect and tighten.

Pros
  • It was part of a present so I did not personally use it.
Cons
  • too big for dog tags and car keys

Get the longer ones

I ordered the short ones because I wasn’t paying attention. They did what they were designed to do but they were difficult to close because they were short. Once I got them on they were solid.

Pros
  • They are great I just would have liked them to be slightly larger.
Cons
  • Do not likeNot really what I thought site proclaimed

Fine fingering can be tricky

I enjoy the variety of colors most to be honest. I’ve been handing them out to people as they are so much easier to use than traditional key rings. They can be tricky to clasp and unclasp at times but I much prefer these to breaking my nails with old styles.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities and adventure sports
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for use as a promotional item due to their limited versatility

Simple solution to keeping bag tags on backpacks for me. Easy to extend with a second strap, or attach keys or other things to the bag as well.So I typically use Tom Bihn bags that all have straps built into their pockets, but there are times when I just want a loop, and that’s where these come into play. I don’t like using clips and D rings as they make lots of noise. The cables are quieter and since they are coated, don’t ding up any of my stuff.I got the variety pack of 6” so I had enough to

Pros
  • ‎bayite
Cons
  • The stainless steel material is not as lightweight as some other materials

Nice problem solver

Works great for my purpose. Looking for something to use as a handle to carry my 40oz. stainless steel water bottle. It came with a metal carabiner, but I can be pretty nit-picky, and I didn't want the clanking sound or potential scratching of paint from a carabiner. I experimented with different options, then came across these. The plastic coating meant no clanking or scratching of paint, but when full, the weight of the bottle would put significant amount of stress on the cable and I was…

Pros
  • Provides an organized and convenient way to carry keys
Cons
  • They do not offer any form of key organization or labeling system

Way better than split rings for keychains

Bought these to use with a new keychain I bought. Added an emergency charging cable for iPhone and micro USB. Works great! Very versatile.

Pros
  • Perfect for use at home, office, or in the car
Cons
  • The stainless steel material can be prone to smudging or fingerprints

Sturdy and colorful

It's what I was looking for, the rings are sturdy. Although they are not as flexible when attached. The attachment is convenient but the twisting takes some time to make secure.

Pros
  • Pulling & Lifting
Cons
  • The rings can cause damage to electronic devices if carried together in pockets or bags

Buy a bigger size best in my review

Serves its purpose. I took off a star for being a pain in the butt to screw/unscrew. I use this for my car keys, but it's tough to take my house keys off when I want to go lock the door after I start the car. Wish I had bought a bigger size.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction ensures longevity
Cons
  • The rings may not be suitable for use in extreme outdoor conditions such as hiking or camping

Sturdy, but not bulky.Nice key cables

These little cables make a nice little key ring. Being the OCD type that I am, I decided to use 2 of these on my keys so that if one ever unscrews, I will still have the second cable on my keys and then I’ll just replace or retighten the unscrewed or missing cable. Based on how tightly these attach, it probably isn’t necessary to use two at once, but it gives me peace of mind. The cables seem strong, but they are thin enough to slide more than one cable through the holes in keys.

Pros
  • ‎Stainless Steel
Cons
  • The cable length may not be long enough to accommodate some larger keys or key chains

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wider than they seem

Be aware, these are too wide for some dog tags (some fit over the end, others did not). Nothing wrong with the product, but I see others have mentioned dog tags, too, so I was disappointed this didn’t work.

Pros
  • ‎BYT-WKC-4INP12
Cons
  • They lack versatility compared to other keychain options, such as carabiners or lanyards

Looks Good ! for my opinion

Have only started to use these key rings. They are slightly thinner than the ones I have been buying over the years, but the diameter of the hooked up ring is slightly larger than the others. Rings look well made, but it will be some months until the durability is tested out. I will rate them a "4" until them. Meanwhile, is appears to be a very good purchase.

Pros
  • I used these for my cruise. I love the colors’& you can change the sizes to fit your needs.
Cons
  • To big

Replace your old rings!

I bought these because I was constantly changing out the key fob my girlfriend and I use and the old rings are such a pain. This is so much better. I have smaller fingers so I find it easy to open and work with. Larger fingers may fumble with it a bit at first. They do slightly loosen over time but you just have to tighten it back up. I have gotten into the habit that every time I pick up my keys I just tighten them. It’s almost like a fidget.

Pros
  • Rust-resistant design ensures they will look great for years
Cons
  • The cable length may not be long enough for use with larger or more complex keychains

Great Product, Great Price, Great Quality

I purchased these key rings because I moved into a new apartment and the key fob I use broke my traditional metal key ring. I ordered these key rings and have been so pleased with my purchase. One band fits all my keys with plenty of room! Not only that but it came as a whole box of them and now all three of my roommates use them! The screw mechanism works perfectly and I haven’t had any problems with it unlocking with use. They are tough and I don’t see a way it would ever break. I would 100%…

Pros
  • Can withstand heavy loads without breaking
Cons
  • They may not fit comfortably in your pocket together with other items such as wallets or phones

Seems like a good idea

My wife purchased these because she doesn't like breaking her nails when trying to add/remove keys from traditional key rings. Does seem like a good idea at first, but these cable loops are so tight that getting the ends to line up so the threads engage is not all that easy. Using fingers alone, it tool me several attempts and felt more trouble than it was worth. Possibly using some needle nose pliers might help. I did not have as much threading difficulty using the longer, larger loop versions

Pros
  • Ideal for securing keys, ID cards, and other small items
Cons
  • They do not offer any additional functionality beyond holding keys

Revainrating 3 out of 5

These are difficult to close because they are short

I had a semi-hard time closing these cables because they are SO short. Apart from that they are very sturdy and the ends are small enough to fit through most key openings. These are also great for securing luggage tags to suitcases since they won’t tear off very easily. If I were to buy more of these I would look for a slightly longer cable.

Pros
  • ‎0.8 ounces
Cons
  • They do not offer any additional features, such as bottle openers or LED lights
