Seems like a good idea
My wife purchased these because she doesn't like breaking her nails when trying to add/remove keys from traditional key rings. Does seem like a good idea at first, but these cable loops are so tight that getting the ends to line up so the threads engage is not all that easy. Using fingers alone, it tool me several attempts and felt more trouble than it was worth. Possibly using some needle nose pliers might help. I did not have as much threading difficulty using the longer, larger loop versions of cable key rings though - Something to consider.
