Very well made and withstands heavy tools. Much better than the ones I've seen in stores. The only problem is that you need a fairly strong material (wall, wood, etc.) to install them.

I bought these for our new shed to replace the large deck nails I usually use. They arrived on time and are very strong. A 4 inch hole in the board I installed through the studs and we are good to go. I really like her.

Ideal for hanging tools on a wooden wall. I used a 5/16" bit to make the pilot holes - make the holes about an inch deep and screw the hook into the hole. The reason I mention this is so you can judge if Your wall will hold these hooks securely.If the wall is not wood or is less than 3/4" thick, position the hooks to match the wall studs.

They are nice and 3/8 inch thick. I have a lot of guitars and wanted to take them off their floor stands. special mounts for guitars. I mounted a couple of them on 2x4s (I sanded the 2x4s, painted them black, then attached them to wall studs). The hooks are slightly angled at the ends so nothing slips off. nice navy blue and although smooth it holds up well. The only issue I found was that they were too tight for my 12 string.
