📄 Heavyweight Linen Textured Cardstock: Premium 50 Sheet Pack for Vibrant Inkjet/Laser Printing (White) Review

I have a small Etsy shop where I sell postcards and prints. And I decided to try this new paper to see if I can offer the best quality to my customers. It turned out that for some reason the color fades when I touch the paper. I'm not sure if this paper is suitable for a laser printer, but every time I print something on it and run my fingers/hands over it, it immediately disappears. Therefore, it is not recommended for laser printers.

The paper is very thick, so only some printers can do without it. Automatic 2-sided printing is even more difficult. Second, I couldn't get this paper to work with my toner based printer. Because of the nature of the texture on the paper, there are very small slits everywhere where either the toner couldn't get into the slits or the toner couldn't stick to the tops of the slits. It might work with certain types of toners and probably inks, but not mine.

This paper is very nice. It has a nice heavy feel, balanced cream colors that aren't too creamy to detract from the print color but just enough to stand out against standard white. The texture is very pleasant, although I would like something thicker. However, I'm not sure how well the ink would set if that were the case. This paper is very heavy and strong. For my use, which was a small collection of poems, paper worked great. Each page felt thicker than a regular sheet of paper which gave my little book a great quality. However, as the title suggests, the linen pattern/engraving is barely visible. If you run your finger over the paper, you can tell that it's a bit textured, but nothing really stands out. If that's what you're after then it's no problem, but for me it is.
