This plastic works and protects things. It is very thin and easily ripped and torn. The most frustrating thing for me was unwrapping it and not getting stuck in the ribbon. It won't be removed from the tape, and you'll end up with a hole that needs to be sealed.

They have proven themselves. The stick on the tape works. The plastic is quite thin and can be difficult to cut. If you let go of the tape you will simply ruin the layer or trim the coating as the plastic tears easily. Generally decent. It would be better if you are attentive and willing to use it accurately.
