I bought two of these. Red is great. The part that holds the pencil and feeds it to the sharpener is metal and you can adjust the sharpness. Blue is a joke. Plastic parts and a dial showing that the length of the tip can be adjusted, but that's fiction. There is no mechanism inside to adjust the length of the tip. The dial is for show only.

I really like this sharpener! Makes a very long and super sharp point for graphite and colored pencils. My large charcoal pencils don't fit in this sharpener but that's small compared to the amazing job it does with other pencils. This product was shipped from UK to USA and arrived in about 5-6 days - WOW. The whole purchase was a pleasure!

Blue NOT A5 although the picture shows it is. If you are looking for A5 go to another listing and buy the red one. I previously bought the red and wanted an extra so I bought the blue because it was $2 cheaper and I don't care about the color. Not only is it not the advertised A5, but the sharpening wheel is different and doesn't work as if there were no mechanism at all. I like the red (A5) I bought and I recommend it, but I don't recommend this blue.
