This table runner looks really lovely on my dark wood table. I couldn't find this runner too long either, so it fits perfectly. Haven't washed it yet so can't comment on durability or wrinkles but will update this review once I do. Update: The initial creases don't go away entirely, but the real problem is that it doesn't lay flat on the table after ironing. It has waves. I love this runner! I bought this for our new kitchen table. I have boys aged 7 and 5 who are not very neat. So far I had to wash and clean; Markers, syrup, something really orange and some baby food sprinkled by my 9 month old playing with what I thought was an "empty" baby food bag. This is the fourth item in this style and in different sizes and colors that I have bought. I mainly use them to protect the surfaces of fine wooden furniture from scratches. This particular item was not as good as my previous purchases. The fabric was a little rougher, the stitching wasn't as precise or nice as on previous purchases, and the fabric had more cupping than I would have liked.
