I used this for the interior lighting of my teardrop trailer. It looks good and saved me from having to run extra wires for the lights, just used the same circuit as the fan. It comes with a push button switch. Drilled a hole in the fan housing. You can use any toggle switch.

Looks great mounted around my FantasticFan with nice warm light. Unfortunately, one of the leads broke off during installation, as it was quickly spot welded with very little solder. I decided to resolder the wire instead of sending it back and waiting for another to be sent. Worked great after the repair.

I installed this on my RV roof vent cowl. As from the manufacturer. Matches beautifully with existing surfaces. I added a led dimmer remote control that works very well. Lighting looks great on newly installed Maxxair fans. I bought a remote dimmer to use in place of the plastic on/off switch that came with the bulbs and the dimmer works great (although I had to splice and troubleshoot the dimmer remote). The holes to attach the lights did not line up exactly with the holes for the vents and there is a small lip on the inside of the lights as the diameter is slightly smaller than the vent. Ever since we got our 2017 motorhome we have been wondering why the interior lights were so bright. As if they made it light enough for the operation. shish. They're LED and I don't like how the dimmers get hot so we just turned them on and set them to the backlight. Then we found this and it's exactly what we need.
