The box arrived without any installation instructions but with a printed note to get instructions to http://www.astscanada.com/ - no longer a valid URL! Googling found a video here from over a year ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9sErp9RWo8) that is helpful except it mentions that the black wire is positive. Not in our department. We lifted the metal LED strip up at one end and there is a clearly embossed (where no one can see) label that reads "black = minus" and grey/white = "plus". Of course, with incorrect connection to the battery (as in the video), the device did not catch fire. But the right connection gave a good light. So installers should be careful and check before connecting themselves.
