I'm a real person at Lights & Lighting Accessories

Used on my 2003 Silverado 2500hd and although the cables are a bit smaller than the truck the actual connector is well made with a nice thick rubber grommet.

Very good product for license plate light

I used to buy plugs and they were loose, wouldn't close and the bulbs moved. However, they are tight and sealed. The only downside is that they have to come with cable connectors. I didn't understand that I ran out πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Requires current wiring technology.

You need to do something with the wiring. This is not a plug and play item. I soldered the connections and sealed them with shrink tubing. I'm assuming crimp butt connectors will work, but I don't trust them in external applications.

Absolutely fantastic immaculate product that worked great on my 05 Sierra Crew Cab SLT

. These are well made sockets of excellent quality. The outer cable protection tube even fitted the factory tube snugly and was able to seal the wiring tightly when changing from the stock wiring harness to these new cable connectors. If I had to come up with a scam it would be too long protective tubing that would have to be cut off to get more solder wires. But hey, that's subjective and some will want longer tubes. Buy them as they will fit just as well if not better than OEM at a fraction…
