Great collar to teach your Doberman puppy how to walk properly on a leash.

The collar is very effective for training a puppy on a leash. This collar will not fall apart like the Herm Sprenger Spiked Collar. I have both types and I 100% prefer this HS collar. It doesn't look as impressive as the other type of HS collar. The disadvantage of this technical collar is the price (very expensive) and it is quite difficult to remove the links to make the collar smaller. I removed 2 links to fit my pup. Overall, however, I am very satisfied with this collar and can use it…

I love walking the dogs again!

Started with a standard collar but chose the neck technology because it looks great and isn't as "aggressive". These things work like a charm, solid construction. You don't have to worry about missing rubber tips or links that tighten like traditional collars. I can walk my two Dutch Shepherds without incident (I have a dog that chases cars and this has enabled me to walk them without fear of their lunge). Too bad they didn't make a martingale style neck in black. Feel free to spend the extra…

🐾If your dog is "extreme ", try an e-collar.🐾

I've used two of these. I have a video of how to change links on my other purchase but this is from this purchase collar. Also about how to measure your dog's neck. I love this collar but it just doesn't work for what I need it for. My 80 lb poodle stopped pulling, but he "got used to the collar". His attitude/psyche was worse than we thought. We had to switch to an e-collar and it works great thanks to Tom Davis, the 'coolest' dog trainer. Electronic collars are great, it's like a vibration on

Great design, dog friendly

Beautifully made and durable. My dog reacts to wearing a collar without correction. Pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness without discomfort when used correctly. I never pull, tug, or use the collar aggressively. My dog walks next to me and doesn't pull. There is a slight pressure when motivated by his high prey drive and he relaxes immediately. I have only used the choke collar once and avoided pain or resistance, but I knew there was a possibility of injury. Replace the choke with this…

Perfect combination of form and function

There is no doubt that these are beautiful collars. In terms of how well this collar controls our dog: - On a scale of 1 to 3, where ONE is a regular chain/choke collar and THREE is a spiked collar with real spikes, I'll give this collar a TWO. It REALLY controls our dog, more so than a choke chain but less than a Herm Sprenger Prong collar. It's just OUR special dog. And he has been trained in voice, hand, ecollar and for many years. I would still buy this new collar - it's beautiful, very…

Worth every dollar best in collars

Expensive but worth it, good design and good looks - I have a 70lb 5 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy and this was a turning point for the walk with it - I took part in the debate that these types of collars are inhumane and I actually got removed from the facebook group because I support these types of collars - I mean there are a lot of people who feel have said these types of collars are no good because they hurt and for correction I don't think they hurt at all but what they do create…

  • Communication with seller

My doberman is the cutest girl, she loves to cuddle, she walks very well for me, on walks she almost always sticks her cheek to my thigh, nothing bothers her, other dogs, cats, loud noises, she is a dream walk. when i stop she stops and sits down. and will look at me and wait. BUT anyone else?. nope! she pulls, doesn't listen. and rarely pays attention to anyone. I even sent her and my daughters to joint training sessions. We're in them right now, so I'll let you know how it goes. Anyway, a…

Saving My Sanity on Collars

We recently rescued a 45 pound German Shepherd Lab mix who is afraid of people, especially males. We live in a busy city center where even on short walks we have to pass literally hundreds of people. As soon as she gets into a state of terror (usually about 10 steps away from the front door), a mad twitching, whining and throwing in all directions begins. There's nothing I can say or do or do to get her attention back. It was exhausting and disappointing. Our canine behavior specialist…
