🐙 Color Layering Octopus Clear Stamps by Hero Arts CM104: Dive into Creative Brilliance! Review

I love the Hero Arts brand and they are no exception. You can use all layers or just one or two and get a beautiful tree. I mainly used two layers of white hot stamping and one to simulate snow for winter cards. I also made envelopes. I bought this along with the Hero Arts Rainforest Ink Cube Set.

I can't rate this 5 stars because the instructions on the back say there are 3 tree stamps in this layer but there are actually 4 trees in the set. I have no idea what the 4th tree is supposed to do. Maybe it should be done with embossing powder to make it look like snow. It would be nice if HA would say. I even went to their website and never got an answer. The stamps stack well and the die cut works well. I have to go from light to dark, and I'd rather do it from dark to light.

Very pretty. Many options for mixing layers of wood. I gave it 4 stars because the base is smaller than I wanted but you can easily build the top. I bought this as an alternative to the Shelter Tree stampin-up because it was cheaper and I didn't really like (or need) the extra stamps in this set. It can be used not only for autumn wood, but also for spring pink, etc. I even lengthened the trunk to make the tree taller using Tim Holtz' emergency markers. Good sentence!
