Based on my experience this backpack is great for everyday use. The crosshatch periscope design is fashionable and the bag is extremely roomy. The padded straps and back make for a comfortable wear, even when carrying heavier items such as textbooks. Bought so my son can go to school. We were looking for the exact Herschel backpack we used from k-3 and found it! There is a water bottle pocket, an iPad protective pocket inside, a front pocket, lined, regular size to fit his school binder and regular sized binder.
