Good riding glove for a mild winter

I've been riding through the New York winter every day for over a decade now. These are the best gloves I have found for this purpose. They have good maneuverability, they're very comfortable, they're warm enough for me in temperatures around 0-10 F. You have to coat them with some kind of wax to ride in the wet.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • A few small things

Cool gloves! suitable for gloves and mittens

killer gloves. I love her. Really warm, nothing for minus degrees or something, but otherwise really warm. Also, the agility they enable is really good. I literally tied my shoes with it. Great on my last ski trip to Vail when it was too hot for my mittens. Just remember to dry them inside when you sweat. And make sure you impregnate them. They don't have a waterproof lining.

The best outdoor leather gloves

Top quality outdoor leather gloves. Comfort A+. Ability A+. A+ quality. The gloves come with a carabiner to connect the gloves, hand straps and original Hestra leather balm. Use a glove balm to keep them soft and water-resistant. Gloves come in different sizes and different colors. These gloves are the best I've ever had. Don't settle for average. Hestra gloves are the best.

Fantastic quality gloves!

These are well made, beautiful and comfortable gloves. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs warm winter gloves for skiing or outdoor activities. Regarding SIZE: Turns out small! I'm 6ft 3 inches tall and my hand is between a 9 and 10 in her size. 10 was too tight for my liking (it fit my arm but felt too tight). So I bought a size 11 and they fit me perfectly, so these gloves were 1.5 sizes too small for me (since my hand "measured" between a 9 and 10.

The most comfortable gloves I've ever worn.

These gloves are amazing. I originally tried them on at the Patagonia store and knew I would need them one day. Back then, I just couldn't justify paying $145 for gloves. When they dropped to $80 on Revain, I knew I had to buy them. I followed the Hestra sizing guide and they fit as expected. I've worn these gloves skiing in all conditions and they always keep my hands warm. The liner is incredibly smooth and comfortable. I've only had them for a few years but they look like new so I think…

Not waterproof, barely waterproof

Pros: Extremely dexterous, very soft leather, very stylish Cons: These gloves are excellent as long as they don't get snow. Then they are almost immediately impregnated. I understand why these gloves are great work gloves if you are only "working" in extreme cold, but to advertise them as ski/snowboard gloves is a mistake as contact with snow is inevitable! If you don't believe me, just run it under the sink for 5 seconds. Forget the 30 minute ice bucket challenge some gloves go through - just…

Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great gloves but requires a bit of prep work.

Excellent gloves perfect for everyday snowboarding. When it's very cold, I wear mittens. But for everyday use it's quite good. I try not to dig my hands in the snow most days, but I've had no problems with it. They must be prepared before first use. They come with a little conditioner, USE IT! Slightly dampen the gloves and use a cloth to apply the conditioner to the gloves. Then use a good glove dryer to dry them. Use a damp cloth to remove any stickiness and dry again. Now the water polo is…

My God. It's boobs

Seriously. Those are boobs. I promised myself a good set of gloves when my AKs wear out, so I did a lot of research and this is what I found. As a gear nob and a lifelong snowboarder, I love good gear. I live in the Denver metro area and I try on everything I can locally and also buy and return a lot of things online. This season I've tried many jackets and gloves because I want the best. Anyway, once I got them on I bought another pair for my brother as an early Christmas present. That's how…
