Type of review

I was hoping this would be my answer for a really warm and waterproof mitten for toddlers and preschoolers. They're definitely warmer than the other mittens we've tried (llbean, rei, landing) but they're still wet when my kid comes in after playing in the snow.

Pros
  • Easy to apply and keeps your hand warm
Cons
  • The sizing may not be accurate, resulting in mittens that do not fit well.

I'm sure they will be perfect next winter

Very warm. I bought for my 21 months. They slipped after a long game. But not all the time, so I would recommend them. I'm sure they will be perfect next winter

Pros
  • I have a pair for each kid and they never complain about being cold skiing (in Maine)
Cons
  • The material does not let air through, which makes hands sweaty and uncomfortable.

Great glove and stylish!

Very cute mittens that keep my daughter's hands warm and dry. I love polka dots and she gets a lot of compliments on it. The mittens fit snugly around your wrist to keep the snow out. The only thing missing, which I think would improve them, is a strap to wear around the wrist while skiing.

Pros
  • Easy to put on
Cons
  • Mittens may not be strong enough to withstand rough play and outdoor activities.

Warm and high - my new review

These are very warm. I like to just slip these mittens over my little Ripper's jacket sleeve to ensure no skin is visible due to the height of these mittens. The zipper is long which makes it easy and hassle-free for our little one to put on these mittens.

Pros
  • Easy on and off with gloved hands! My baby's hands stay warm too. Love!
Cons
  • Closing the zipper can be difficult, especially for small hands.

Fried hands in my review

My 4 year old granddaughter has always complained about cold hands when wearing other mittens. After a lot of research I ordered them for them and they keep your hands warm even in the snow.

Pros
  • These are the best kids gloves. Easy to put on, stay dry etc. Our 4 year old loves them as much as we do.
Cons
  • Mittens may not keep your hands warm enough in extremely cold temperatures.

Not as warm as hoped

Disappointed. I wanted my daughter to love them and keep them warm this winter especially as they are expensive. But she complains that her hands get cold every time she puts them on, even on days in her 30s. Her Obermeyer gloves keep her warm on her teenage days with a fever but she needed an extra pair for home and school so I bought them. . Will not buy it again and will choose Obermeyer.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

This is a complete disappointment. The design is great but not warm enough for my daughter to be outside when the temperature is below 35 degrees. Her fingers were swollen and red from the cold. I felt terrible! Her hands were as cold as my bare hands. For the price I expected better performance. In general, it is not warm enough for a winter in the Rocky Mountains. look elsewhere

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliability
