The first one taken out of the box broke so they are not very strong. They're a little bigger than expected, but ok.

Works perfectly. i love silver I wish the gold wasn't so bright and muted. Was a great price so no complaints. Great idea for people with long nails and arthritis, no problem if the magnet comes loose.

As an occasional jeweler (wire winding, bead embroidery, chain mail) I made bracelets and necklaces out of it. Unfortunately, the magnets aren't strong enough to withstand even a simple hold or tug. I didn't want to risk people losing their pieces, so I opted for traditional lobster claws.

Fasteners work great and are fairly easy to install. The only small problem is that they are a little discolored. One of the gold clasps eventually turned the color of polished copper. All in all it was a great purchase that has breathed new life into many necklaces that were too difficult to put together.

What a great idea those little magnets! It's also durable, I've used it on a one stone necklace so it's quite heavy and I personally haven't had any issues. I can see that when a child starts tugging on your necklace it will give, but with regular wear I have had no problems. I have not used it for any jewelry other than necklaces but I don't see why it should be any different for bracelets, anklets etc.
