Lyle doesn't make them the way they used to.

I usually use snap on tools but I also have many Lisle specialty tools which have always been of very good quality. Unfortunately, this set of Lisle hex sockets is a far cry from the quality I was once used to from Lisle. A 5mm bolt will not fit in a 5mm socket head bolt because it is too big and the 10mm bolt crumbled and split under low torque applied with a 3/8 ratchet. I had a 10mm warranty at my local parts store and the replacement also broke on first use. Hard to believe they are made in

MADE IN THE USA! Lisle has gained a new customer

MADE IN USA! This is exactly what I was looking for. They are slightly more expensive than their Chinese counterparts but still have great value. I wasn't sure what bit size I needed. All I knew was that I needed more than 6mm. So far I've only used an 8mm bit to replace the belt tensioner assembly. The 8mm bit that was attached to my 1/2" drive jumper (with 3/8" drive reduction adapter) took a lot of force to pry the bolt out. For this piece, that wasn't a problem at all. I had never heard of…

Very disappointed! on Allen Wrenches

God what nonsense! I hope I accidentally took what was actually a few factory seconds out of production, I hope this crap wasn't made and sold here in the US on purpose. The chrome trim was pitted and the outlets were sticky and dirty from the start. Then, upon closer inspection, I noticed that there were additional flaws in each outlet. Some of them were stamped in more than one size, some had errors in the square drive, the square hole is too big, they fall off all my expensive American…
