I love this tree so much! The only thing we changed was we removed the small hammock at the very bottom, it just seemed to get in the way and the cats just wanted to bang against it. Now that doesn't exist anymore, the space has become much more useful and scratching posts are used much more often! Not necessarily good for very large cats. I really love this tree! It's so incredibly soft! The 3 perches on top are very soft and comfortable. The material it is made of is really high quality. Cons: We originally used it on hardwood floors but it was shaky, especially when the cat was on one of the raised beds. We put it in a carpeted room and it still wobbles a bit, but the cats don't seem to mind. One oddity about this scratching post is that it smelled like catnip, although it clearly didn't contain catnip. It took about a week for the smell to go away.
