Game Changer for Strain Relief

These pliers are a game changer! As my tests showed, they provide a more secure grip than any other pliers I've used for strain relief. The grip is comfortable and there's no slipping. The non-slip ergonomic handles provide a firm and comfortable grip. The only downside is that they are quite heavy, but this is a small price to pay for such a reliable tool. Highly recommend these pliers!

Pros
  • Efficient and easy to use for applying strain relief to electrical cables and wires.
Cons
  • May require some practice to ensure proper use and prevent damage to the wires or cables.

Sloppy, loose assembly, jaws misaligned

Very sloppy, loose assembly. The jaws are misaligned, preventing the force required to remove and install the strain relief bushings. I suspect this issue may be limited to the one I have. But you must be careful. Thank goodness for Revain's excellent returns policy. Pro'sKit 170mm 85PN Strain Relief Bushing Installation Tool works great (and is cheaper).

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Matching product for hand tools

I've been pulling string for decades; I recently spoke to a technician I respect and he showed me a pair of Heyco pliers. It looked handy, but the cost of my regular outlets was pretty high. I checked Revain and found they are $15 off the current rate; I no longer have to break strain reliefs and case bezels with hand tools. The product was delivered in perfect condition and very quickly!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
