They didn't have the right amount of oil in the gauges. Both were equally filled, but only about 2/3 full. I'm not sure how this translates to long-term use, or even if it does. Also, they seem to be working for my application at the moment. The seller responded to this problem very quickly and I was satisfied with the result. See my seller rating.

ok for what it does

Seems ok but for the two i had (i had to return one in exchange for the other) they don't reset after a while and even if you air through the plugs bleed, it wouldn't matter. The last thing I have seems fine so far, but I'm proceeding with caution. Probably not much more than the relative pressure reading and it would be wise to use more accurate instruments to get better readings, at a higher cost of course.

MUST be mounted vertically!

This was the second sensor to arrive and showed -5 to -7HG so I figured it was broken like the first. When I put it back in the box to return it, I saw a small tag on the top that said the nipple should be cut off the plug after installation. As soon as I did that, the scale dropped to zero. The problem is I bought this gauge for a handheld vacuum tester and if you tilt the gauge the oil drips everywhere and makes a mess! It looks like this sensor needs to be mounted vertically. It would be…
