Accurate, Efficient Edge Locator

The HHIP Single Edge Finder is a fantastic tool for anyone in the Industrial and Scientific field. My analysis of this product showed that it was incredibly accurate and efficient, utilizing a sharp edge to quickly identify the edges of a workpiece. The sturdy construction and compact size also make it easy to use in tight spaces. The only potential drawback is that it may not be suitable for very small workpieces due to the size of the edge. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone…

Pros
  • Accurate, efficient, sturdy construction, compact
Cons
  • May not be suitable for very small workpieces

Seems to do the job really well

This was bought for my son so I can't give details but he says it does the job. It was very helpful in his mechanical engineering class and helped him complete some really impressive projects.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Doesn't work, point

This thing just doesn't work. The spring holds the ends so tight they barely move, and the surface between the wiggler and the main bar has an odd contour. Instead of sliding in and then leaning to the side upon reaching the outermost surface, it seems like it just wants to center sharply and then lean back when enough lateral pressure is applied to it. Completely useless as an accurate edge finder. Spend an extra $0.20 (yes, 20 cents) and buy a Mitutoyo. I did and will return it.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
