But it was a great product and I will buy it again for the next trail.

I used this jack mount on the side rail of my F-250. It keeps the jack horizontal on the bed rail with minimal vibration. It holds securely, but I would recommend buying a grip holder to dampen off-road rattling. But it was a great product and I will buy it again for my next trail rig.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

High quality - ideal for my truck bed

Used to install a Hi-Lift on a long Ford F-250 truck bed. The bracket sits a little higher on the bed rail than I would like and the jack sticks out about an inch above the top of the bed rail. The quality of the bracket is good, the jack is secure, it doesn't rattle while driving. The included lock really sucks, but easy to replace.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not sure

Simple, easy to set up and holds the jack well enough

2011 Ford F-250 Crew Cab - fits like a champ. Sticks out a bit above the bed but I've installed it now and I'm very happy. I've driven the truck about 500 miles since installing it and it holds the jack securely. The lock isn't great, so I installed a strong cable lock instead. I had to drill through the edge of the bed, so you'll probably want some drill bits for metal.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

If negative stars were possible.

Absolute bullshit. A tiny hook that looks like a thin soft-metal device that supports the support of a car jack. I attached it to a STONE and ONE ride up and down a 2 mile mountain road and the hook was bent and the (admittedly small and flimsy) GMC bed rail was bent. The clamp is too small and does not distribute the weight over a sufficient area. Bulldog Jack mounts are much better. It can't even be used as a paperweight, it's too light.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgrades

Little did I know that the footrest bracket cannot be installed on the passenger side of the bed with the jack leg forward. I contacted Highlift to see if they had a footrest that would allow this, they said no. If you want it to be installed with the side stand forward, it must be on the driver's side. I can choose to have the footboard I need made by a metal fabricator.

Pros
  • Datura πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Damaged

I personally found the installation cumbersome. When it says "designed to mount to bed rails," I envisioned some sort of clamp system that typically attaches racks, caps, and storage rails. It's nothing more than a simple (but expensive) mount. "Mounting system" should be replaced with "bracket". That's all. You have to drill to install it and it doesn't seem all that strong considering the weight of the jack and the fact that I usually bounce it around the back of my truck. I ended up not…

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • Compatibility
