Very Happy With This Framework And Would Highly Recommend

I like that it is easy to use, has very good documentation for beginners as well experts alike! It's not free but what do you expect when your using Open Source software? You get features at no cost with any license other than GPL v3 or Apache License 2 which are both great licenses in my opinion so don't let price be something holding back from trying this out if its available where ever u r going too! If i had anything negative about hibernation would have been lack of support/documentation…

Pros
  • Powerful framework
  • OMG ! Great Documented code base.
  • Also user groups meetups across world also keep growing yearly :)
Cons
  • Lack Resources provided through commercial vendors comparedto open source projects eases adoption among those who want better control without needing dedicated staffs

Very helpful framework! So useful!!

What I like about hibernate is that it is one of the best and most robust persistence frameworks available for Java. We use it to store our data in a relational database and it works seamlessly with other applications without any hassle. I must admit I didn't like it a lot when it was first developed. But with time and with the use of other ORM and JPA-based frameworks like spring-data I can finally say that I love Hibernate. And yes, the community around it is very active and provides lots of…

Pros
  • Extremely powerful query language built within itself alongwith awesome object mapping capabilities
Cons
  • None

Easy Implementation Of Database Management Using Existing Code

The best thing about hibernate is that it allows me to use my existing code without any modification, so no need for new development of software using other database management system. It also provides good support in terms of security issues like data encryption etc which are very important when you have sensitive information stored or accessed through your applications. Some additional features could be added such as integration with JPA (Java Persistence API). I would recommend this product…

Pros
  • Easy access
  • Good documentation available online.
  • Supports object relational mapping techniques
Cons
  • It is hard to say

Hiberntate saves lot's time during development

It provides the best persistence for the SQL Server database which is one of the major advantages of hibernate. By this, I can easily use the SQL Server database and the code is also easy to write. The code is not user-friendly as it lacks of documentation. It has its own issues. I used to develop applications which can easily store data in SQL server. It also supports the Java object persistence. It is easy to use, it has good documentation and support for all major databases like MySQL…

Pros
  • Extremely flexible
  • Object Relational modeling
  • Supports multiple Databases including NoSQL db's too.
  • Easy debugging/logging mechanism when run locally through eclipse IDE by setting break points , logging debug information while writing sql statements. This gives ease during troubleshooting & error correction process since we get real time messages related issue without going though logs from
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
