Not for me: Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

I returned this shaker because I only bought one and not the pair I was expecting. I find the price of this product outrageous.

Exceptional salt shaker: Salt & Pepper

Looks like a fancy salt shaker. That's my favorite. Durable glass. There's a lot of salt coming out, so you have to be delicate, you know, with imagination.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • confused

Practical Elegance Best in Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Practical and beautiful and affordable, I love these shakers for their simple classic elegance. Holds enough salt or pepper, pours evenly, and the shape makes them easy to use.

Pros
  • Handy Item
Cons
  • Questionable Elderly Buy

Great shaker! in kitchen utensils and gadgets

I am very satisfied with this salt shaker. I had the same one I broke. I love the flow out of the holes on this shaker, many salt shakers have holes that are too big making your food too salty. This one is perfect!

Pros
  • household and kitchen
Cons
  • weak

Nice shakers - for salt and pepper

Not a set; You have to buy 2 if you want one for salt and one for pepper. This is exactly what I was looking for to replace my old set; nice with chrome (silver) tops. But believe me, after paying $5.50 a pop (free shipping thank god), I found similar shakers in Party City for $1.99 a pop. But I am satisfied with the shakers and can recommend them.

Pros
  • Kitchen and dining room
Cons
  • Can't remember

Holes don't do well with coarse salt

I have had salt shakers with the Eiffel Tower on them for many years. Yes, they look very elegant. The slanted holes in the small, pointed lid feel large and work well with regular, fine-grain table salt. However, I have recently switched to Morton's Raw Sea Salt. These grains of salt are larger and are reluctant to fall into the holes if you hit the bottom of the shaker hard a few times. This salt tends to clump together and even adding rice doesn't loosen the grains. It's too much work with…

Pros
  • Salt & Pepper
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
