This little pig. - Grills and outdoor cooking

My boyfriend and I love to cook and dig out bacon! It was one of those things he didn't really need, so I bought it for him as a Christmas present. He loved it! As for the practical purpose, it ensures the bacon cooks evenly every time.

I wish I had gotten it sooner

Should have gotten it a year ago, bacon, sausage, hamburger, chicken, everything cooks faster and more evenly. It's a hassle to clean, so I recommend wrapping it in strong foil or placing foil between it and whatever you're cooking to make cleaning easier. Never soak or air dry, rinse and wipe dry once cool to avoid rusting.

Heat for an hour or more over medium-high heat. And you can unscrew the wooden handle and make it in the oven! If you wash it after use, be sure to dry it and reapply the oil! I use rapeseed oil, it's very good for high temperatures and tastes natural! For storage, I use an aluminum cake pan and place a…

Great gift for a cast iron lover

Mom loved it! She became interested in collecting cast iron and I had a very hard time figuring out what to get her for Christmas. She has so much I couldn't figure out what she had and didn't have. I've thought about buying her a frying pan in the shape of our state, but they're not doing it yet. So I typed in a cast iron gift and it came out. When she opened it she said she had wanted it for a long time, she had a large one for grilled steaks but not one to put in a pan. So if you have a…
