It worked for about a week and now it won't turn on at all.

I paid to ballast my Infiniti QX56 and turn on the headlight! It worked for about a week and now it won't turn on at all. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Good value for money but o-ring is too big for Infiniti Qx56

It works great and fits perfectly, but the o-ring is too big so you can't install it! This is my second one as the first one had the same issue and I thought maybe it was the bug the first time! You can't seal the ballast properly, so water will leak out and burn through. This time I used a utility knife to cut the ribbed o-ring/seal in half and then installed it.

Will not fit JX35

This product will not fit the factory ballast and igniter for 2013 JX35. If you have this part and are in a pinch you can use a D2R bulb in this igniter that fits in the light pocket. However, the factory fuze JX 35 requires D2S. The factory igniter will NOT work with this ballast, the wires are a different configuration so you cannot order this ballast and connect a factory igniter. I have emailed customer service to verify that the JX35 has been removed from the list. Learn from my 3 hours of

Fantastic ballast! The best of the best!

Man. When I discovered that the ballast for my headlight on my Infiniti QX56 was faulty I went to my local auto parts store to have it replaced but was SHOCKED at the $249 price tag. Wow! So I checked out Revain and found this one. It cost less than $50 and looked 100% the same as the factory unit. I installed it in about 15 minutes and it works perfectly! It actually works better than ideal as the light is brighter, whiter and more intense with the 'new' ballast. Now I have to replace mine…

I don't know much about cars.

Good I have a '09 Nissan Maxima and my driver's side headlight has failed. Actually not for a long time. This HID ballast was recommended to me by a colleague of mine who drives an endless SUV. I ordered one that was bad but this company sent me a replacement with no problem and it works great. I'm so glad I can see at night and not risk being stopped. I actually went to the store to check the ballast before sending it back and the store wanted to charge around $400 for name brand ballast. I do

Works/Fits perfectly on a 2009 Nissan Altima

I started having problems with one of the HID headlights on my 2009 Nissan Altima. At first I thought it was a burned out lightbulb. So I replaced the HID bulbs but the problem persisted. During the investigation, I realized that the ballast could be the source of the problem. I took a chance and bought a replacement HID ballast from GWA Auto Parts. The part arrived very quickly and took me about 20 minutes to install (I knew exactly which screws to remove). To my SURPRISE, this solved my…

Cheap replacement, works the same as OEM

I tend to look for an average grounding replacement product when buying my car (most parts, not all) and came across this good visibility replacement ballast at Revane. My mechanic replaced it as the ballast mount requires the bumper to be lowered and I wasn't willing to do this unaided at the time. Driven about 7000 km at the moment, no complaints. There is no apparent dimming between the lamp powered by the stock ballast and the replacement kit. ADVANTAGES: Economical. Same function as the…

So far so good for lights and accessories

I've seen a few reviews where the product crashed shortly after installation, but I have to wonder if it was a different type of problem that caused the initial crash and not a new part. The shop said $1,000 to fix the headlights, and the book probably says it should be. I can't imagine how much the dealer will charge. All in all, with less than 200 used new bulbs, it took my son and I two hours to drive slowly and steadily. I know this will fit a few different models so a bit of common sense…

The cost is 1/10th the cost of normal Nissan ballasts.

Changing on my Murano 07 was a big headache but I managed it and so far so well. They work great. Time will obviously tell how long they last, but for the price, it really beats Nissan's $595 OEM option. An independent shop that I use regularly is mentioned as the markets don't last long at all and that I trust. But I couldn't pay nearly as much as a car just for the headlights. But they are solid ballasts. They look just like the OEM Nissans I've pulled. I didn't use the black wire because for

Saved an incredible amount of money

When my left xenon headlight went out, the dealer correctly diagnosed a ballast fault. Her estimate for parts and labor was $1,100. Labor rate was $135 per hour, approximately 3 hours. So they charged $6-700 for the ballast. After checking several reviews, it turned out that all retailers are overpriced for this product. I bought this from Revain for $90 after including a new xenon bulb (just in case) and a package of plastic mounting clips. I took it to the dealer who installed it for $209…
