I've seen a few reviews where the product crashed shortly after installation, but I have to wonder if it was a different type of problem that caused the initial crash and not a new part. The shop said $1,000 to fix the headlights, and the book probably says it should be. I can't imagine how much the dealer will charge. All in all, with less than 200 used new bulbs, it took my son and I two hours to drive slowly and steadily. I know this will fit a few different models so a bit of common sense is required to complete it and the advice would be that it comes with a strap which you may or may not need to use, so that's a possible source of confusion can lead. But totally plug and play and no one got electrocuted. My guess is that garages use the same aftermarket parts and charge dealer supplied fees
