Unfortunately these card manufacturers don't seem to consider flexibility at all and the Gen 1 product here isn't easy to set up/use without a huge headache.

Works fine once you set it up but it took me a full day of emailing back and forth with the supplier to get what I was looking for an easy task - so I deducted the star. Now when we dispense a key fob when we select a data field we simply bring the key fob to that device and all the required data is entered into our access software. We no longer need a magnifying glass to decipher the mouse writing on our keychains!

Purchased to use in our registration system. Works fantastic. Installation is a little tricky due to the complexity of the HID cards, but Guy and Alex were fantastic. Any question I had was answered or a solution found very quickly. I would buy again just because of the customer service.

Not for the inexperienced user. It also creates a separate ethernet card (emulated) that messes around with my software registered via the ethernet card's MAC address. But the device reads cards quickly.

Bought a pair for company use. Works well. As mentioned in another review, it doesn't come with drivers or anything, but they're easy to find on the HID website. The configuration is so simple that even a beginner can figure it out. Trial and error will get you the result you want if you don't understand the different card types and such.
