I'm 43 years old and I have no idea why I never bought them. This item is worth every penny! I like it. It is easy to clean, durable, can separate pieces with a sieve. Fast delivery. I highly recommend.

Overall a good product I bought it for but have never had it. Anyone who cooks with oil or needs to separate the fat should have it. Once you do, you'll wonder why you've never had it before.

I bought an oil container to strain and store my frying oil. The filter mainly filters out small particles from the oil. Now there is no need to use a paper filter and I have a good container to keep the oil. The filter and tank are strong; The lid fits well and the pan prevents oil from dripping onto the counter. I'm happy.

4 stars because I hoped for such a price that it would wear out much faster. I'm a mom, always in a hurry, so it's a little annoying having to slowly pour in the lube so she can tighten up as she walks. Overall though, I love having this item! My husband loves to have lube on hand and this is a good quality item!

Neat product, as advertised. Remember that the lid is NOT a snug fit; it is larger than the container. A nice addition is the optional metal container shelf for placing the container. This is a fairly large item, more suited to a full-fledged eat-in kitchen than an apartment where space can be at a premium. It will NOT fit the 3" top of the back of your oven lol.

This is an attractive solution for handling cooking fat BUT the screen is too fine and part of the screen is too small making it difficult to pour hot fat over the specified area. Too much fat ends up on the lid instead of being filtered in the jar. Especially when trying to pour from my heavy (and HOT) cast iron skillet.

I never thought I would need this in my life! I've always had a fear of fried food; Find out where or how to store the oil next time. This is excellent cooking for those who fry. The screen mesh is easy to use and clean, and the capacity is quite large, which is what I was looking for. I bought this along with a Presto slow cooker/fryer. Perfect!

Where to start?!? The lid is too big and slips, the grip is terribly difficult to control, the screen grip is too big AND bent at an awkward angle and slips too. All of this is inconvenient and dangerous when you're dealing with hot oil and the footprint is too big. I used my previous jar for 40+ years and my mum used the same one 70 years earlier and they were compact but held a lot and the strainer and lid fitted snugly so grab, pour and set it off.
