Love hiflo for Motorcycle & Powersports

I'm having a hard time showing filters. Especially oil. I love Hiflo products that's why I give them 5 stars. I don't see how well they really work because I don't check the engine for wear.

O-ring didn't fit (large)

I ordered an oil filter for a 2002 Triumph Trophy 1200cc. Everything fits except for the large O-ring. He was too big. This seems to be a common problem with other manufacturers as well. Triumph's O-ring is $13!

Fits Kawasaki PN: 16099-003

Just wanted to let you know that for some reason Revain said this filter did not fit my 99kawasaki zrx1100. Fits and works. Even the box has a list of part numbers, before mine it was the same PN: 16099-003

Pros

Cons
  • Only available in Black

The large o-ring is too large to fit a 1999 Triumph Thunderbird.

The price is reasonable, but the large gasket does not fit into the filter housing groove because its diameter is too large. This filter is supposed to fit a 1999 Triumph Thunderbird but actually doesn't because I had to use an old gasket.

2000 Triumph Trophy 1200 - does it fit? Nearly .

This filter, HF 401, was marked as suitable for my 2000 Triumph Trophy 1200 motorcycle. However, the O-ring of the large oil filter cover was too large in diameter. There was no way it could fit into the groove it was intended for. Maybe 2/3 inch more. Also, the "circumference" of the O-ring, ie the thickness of the rubber ring, seemed too thick to fit in the groove. VERY BAD. I think the cross reference is wrong. The right filter might be HF192. Not sure. I will never buy an HF-401 again. I…
